Update: Juvenile Arrested In Downtown Gresham Homicide Investigation

Detectives have arrested a 16-year-old boy from Gresham for his alleged involvement in the assault and subsequent death of Tod Alan Barker. The youth is facing charges of Murder and Assault in the Second Degree, Robbery in the First Degree, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. The investigation into the possibility of additional suspects is ongoing.

Barker, 53, was assaulted on the evening of Sept. 27 while walking in the 200 block of NE Roberts Avenue. Barker died on Oct. 9 from injuries sustained during the attack and the Multnomah County medical examiner ruled his death a homicide.
