What will your donation go toward?

There are three distinct categories that Arts Now! will support.

The first is additional shelving, signage, and monitors for the 510 Museum & ARTspace. With nearly 4,000 visitors each year and the only dedicated gallery space in Lake Oswego, upgrading the exhibition space is a key for future programming and exhibitions. The goal is $2,000.

Second, ACLO learned from a public survey last fall that the community would like more adult education programs. With that said, ACLO’s goal is to raise $2,000 to fund this effort. Money would offset art educators, supplies, and also enrich the growing Family Art-Making program.

Lastly, the nationally recognized Gallery Without Walls program is in need of expanded docent tours and interactive programming. Technology is helping all aspects in the non-profit realm, and ACLO wishes to develop a proactive approach with smartphones for viewing the 70 plus public sculptures throughout Lake Oswego. The goal for this is $2,000.

The total target for the five-week program is $6,000.

As a bonus, every Tuesday from May 22 through June 25, the Arts Council will collect names of donors and enter them into a drawing for the weekly Arts Now! give prize.

Each donor that gives a minimum of $15 has an opportunity to be chosen, at random, to win a great incentive prize. Items range in value from $75 to $500 and include a sterling silver necklace from Mountain Girl Silver, a Back to Nature Facial, VIP tickets to Unveil Your Art!, a wine basket, and an original pet portrait and pet basket by local artist, Pam Helling.

More information is available on the ACLO website, or by following the Arts Council on social media. Winners will be announced every Tuesday.

Are contributions tax deductible? Yes!

As a 501c3 organization, gifts to the Arts Council of Lake Oswego are deductible and ACLO will send you an official receipt in July.
