The Art Council of Lake Oswego is trying something new this year. They're looking for people to donate art to help the council raise funds.
LAKE OSWEGO, OR – Do you have a piece of art that's just sitting around gathering dust? Or maybe something on the wall that you feel could serve a higher purpose?

The council hopes that people will donate works that can be sold with the proceeds going to funding outreach and education efforts.

While the show doesn't open until Jan. 4, the council is accepting donations throught Oct. 18.
The council is a 501(c)3 not for profit and you may be able to get a tax deductions.
