Attempted Robbery Suspect Sought By Tualatin Police

The attempted robbery occurred around 10:30 p.m. July 29 at the Tualatin Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar, police said.

TUALATIN, OR — Tualatin police on Thursday released surveillance video of an attempted robbery at an Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar. Now they want the community's help identifying the robbery suspect.

The attempted robbery reportedly took place shortly before 10:30 p.m. July 29 at the Tualatin Applebee's, located at 8559 S.W. Tualatin-Sherwood Rd. The suspect is said to have demanded money, but the Applebee's staff did not comply. No weapons were displayed and no injuries were reported, police said.

According to witness statements, the suspect is a white male between 40 and 50 years old. At the time of the attempted robbery, the suspect was wearing a baseball cap with a white bill, a dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and tan hiking-style shoes.
