Easter Egg Hunt at Tualatin Community Park Saturday

The Lions Club and Boy Scout Troop 530 will host the 41st annual egg hunt, and will this year be joined by the new Cracker Barrel Restaurant

TUALATIN, OR – An annual Easter tradition returns this weekend to the Tualatin Community Park as the city welcomes the Tualatin Lions Club and Boy Scout Troop 530 for the 41st annual Tualatin Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt.

Beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 15, egg hunting groups separated by age will be set loose in the park to collect eggs and search specifically for the one special egg available to each group. Hunting groups are available to kids aged 2 years old to 8 years old.

Assisting for the first time this year is the new-to-Tualatin Cracker Barrel Restaurant, which will host a photo booth for families to take pictures with the Easter Bunny and give away Cracker Barrel Kids Cards to all the egg hunt participants.

Cracker Barrel will open its first West Coast location Monday, April 17, at 7415 S.W. Nyberg St. in Tualatin. As a show of support for the Lions Club, Cracker Barrel officials have decided to donate a Cracker Barrel rocking chair for the Lions Club to raffle around 2:30 p.m. Saturday, after the egg hunt. Tickets are $5 and will be available from all Lions Club members at the park.

Additionally, both the Lions and Boy Scouts are requesting non-perishable food donations to help support the Tualatin School House Food Pantry. All cash donations, sponsorship benefits from Cracker Barrel, and revenue from the popcorn sales will go toward Lions Club youth programs in Tualatin.
