Hazelia Agri-Cultural Heritage Trail Grand Opening July 8
The Saturday event runs from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., with shuttle buses providing rides beginning at 11 a.m.

LAKE OSWEGO, OR — The long-awaited grand opening of the Hazelia Agri-Cultural Heritage Trail will take place Saturday at Luscher Farm in West Linn — much to the delight of hiking and history enthusiasts throughout the region.
Beginning at 12 p.m. July 8, Lake Oswego Mayor Kent Studebaker and members of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the trail, which consists of 10 interpretive panels, each of which offer a look into different aspects of the Hazelia area's history.
As part of the grand opening ceremony, mounted copies of the panels will be displayed at Luscher Farm. But for those who don't attend, the only way to see them after will be to walk the trail, which stretches across the Stafford Hamlet, north of the Tualatin River.
