Lake Oswego Baker Wins Fourth Cupcake Wars Title

She can clearly stand the heat.

Kyra Bussanich, the owner of Kyra's Bake Shop in Lake Oswego, took home her fourth title in Cupcake Wars on The Food Network Monday night.

She is the only four-time winner on the show.

Her creations were inspired by the Cirque du Soleil show, "Mystere" and will be featured at a party in Las Vegas.

She also won $10,000.

For the show, Bussanich made five kinds of cupcakes: chocolate cardamom orange hazelnut goat cheese, coconut pineapple rum, raspberry hibiscus rose, chocolate caramel curry crush, and cherry balsamic black pepper.

She will be offering the cupcake flavors for sale in her shop - one a week for the next five weeks. It was Bussanich's sixth appearance on the show.

She has four wins and two second-place finishes.

Bussanich's cupcakes are all gluten-free, making her wins that much more remarkable as she often competed against cupcakes that were not gluten-free.
