Lake Oswego Mother and Son Face Eviction

A cancer survivor and her son have had their home foreclosed and must be out by January 5th.

Cynthia Johnson has faced down cancer and chronic fatigue syndrome. She helped guide her son, Shane, through Lake Oswego High School from which he graduated in 2014. It does not look like she will win this battle - the one to save the home she's lived in for 30 years.

The Johnson's home was foreclosed on a few months ago - Johnson's medical condition forced her to miss mortgage payments - and they must be out by January 5th.

"They have nowhere to live temporarily after they are evicted." according to a Facebook page set up to help them. "They have nowhere to store their belongings or even any way to move them."

The paper says she weighs 84 pounds now and doesn't think she will survive sleeping in her 1995 Ford Windstar.

"I will die in the car," they quote her as saying.
