Lake Oswego Principal Heads To Oregon City

Lake Oswego Junior High School Principal Sara Deboy will join the Oregon City School District next year, LOSD officials announced Monday.

LAKE OSWEGO, OR — Lake Oswego School District officials on Monday announced a change in administrative leadership. Sara Deboy, principal at Lake Oswego Junior High School, has reportedly been appointed to the position of Associate Director of Teaching and Learning for the Oregon City School District.

Deboy ends more than a decade with LOSD after beginning her career as the principal at Lake Grove Elementary in 2007, according to LOSD spokeswoman Christine Moses.

"Deboy has worked with numerous committees in her 11 years in LOSD, including curriculum adoptions, safety and emergency preparation task force, contract negotiations, equity and inclusion teams, bond development and implementation teams, district professional development planning committees, and technology and innovation task forces," Moses said in a statement, adding that LOSD officials will immediately begin seeking Deboy's replacement.
