Lake Oswego Schools: Board Adds Three Days To The Year

No change in store for end of the year schedule for high school seniors.

The Lake Oswego School District Board has approved a plan to make up for at least some of the days that were missed because of the parade of snow and ice that moved through the area at the start of the year. The board turned one day off into an instructional day and added two other days as well.

Presidents Day - which is on Feb. 20 - will now be an instructional day. The board also extended the school year by two days. June 13th was to be the final day of classes and an early released day. It will be neither.

The new last day of the school year will be June 15. It will be an early released day.
