Lake Oswego Woman Murdered In Home, Husband Seriously Injured

Heidi Winchester was found murdered in her Lake Oswego home.. Her husband was seriously injured. Police say that there is no public danger.

LAKE OSWEGO, OR – Heidi Anne Winchester was murdered in Lake Oswego on Wednesday. Her husband, Michael,was found in the garage seriously injured.

Police say that there is no danger to the public at this time. While they are not naming the person they think is responsible, they say that they're aware of where that person is.

A weapon, which police say is not a gun, has been recovered.

Officers arrived at the home by River Run Drive and Bass Lane around 4 p.m. n Wednesday after receiving a 911 call from the couple's 18-year-old son.

The son and his brother were home at the time.

Neither is a suspect.

Michael was found seriously injured and taken to the hospital. He is stable and expected that he will recover.

The Clackamas County Major Crimes Team is assisting Lake Oswego Police with the investigation.
