Lake Oswego's Michael Winchester Charged With Killing Wife, Heidi

Lake Oswego Police responded to the Winchester home on Jan. 30 after being called by Michael and Heidi's 18-year-old son.

LAKE OSWEGO, OR – Michael Winchester killed his wife, Heidi Anne. That's what Lake Oswego Police announced Monday after arresting Michael and charged him with murder.

Officers had responded to the family home by River Run Drive and Bass Lane around 4 p.m. on Jan. 30.

They had received a 911 call from the couple's 18-year-old son.

The son had arrived home to find his 50-year-old mother murdered in the house. His 52-year-old father was in the garage, seriously injured.

At the time, police said that they didn't think that there was a danger to the public. They said that they believed they know the person responsible and where to find the person.

Police have not said what weapon that they think Michael used, only that it was not a gun.
