Lakeridge Principal Moves Up To Assistant Superintendent

Jennifer Schiele will take over as interim assistant superintendent for the Lake Oswego School District for the 2018-2019 school year.

From Lake Oswego School District: Lake Oswego School District’s Interim Superintendent Michael Musick announced that he has appointed Lakeridge High School Principal Jennifer Schiele as interim Assistant Superintendent for the 2018-2019 school year.

“I am excited to promote Jennifer,” said Musick. “Her work at Lakeridge High School exemplifies the district’s vision of 'all means all.' The increase in her school’s graduation rate, the reduction in Ds/Fs, and the increase in the number of students taking AP courses are the reflection of a leader who motivates her staff to reach absolutely every student.

“She is a collaborative leader who leads by example," Musick continued. "She asks her staff to approach their work by building relationships with students as a central part of how they teach … not just having students get excellent grades.”
