NBA Finals: Kevin Love Got The Ring, Klay Thompson Won the Battle

The real battle in the NBA Finals wasn't Golden State vs. Cleveland.

It was Kevin Love of the Cavaliers against Klay Thompson of the Warriors.

While the two were on opposite sides in the finals, the two have a long history. They both grew up in Lake Oswego.

Not only that, they were teammates in Little League in fifth and sixth grade, playing on the city's all-star team and helping guide them to a state championship.

So, how did they do matched up against each other? Well, Love got the ring... but Thompson won the match-up.

(And Thompson shouldn't feel too bad.. he did get a championship ring last year).
