Traffic Light Project Will Cause Delays Through September

Lake Oswego school officials warn drivers to expect delays at the intersection of Bryant and Jean roads through Sept. 20.

LAKE OSWEGO, OR — With the 2018-2019 school year fully underway in Lake Oswego as of Tuesday, city officials remind drivers to remain extra vigilant and to expect delays at the intersection of Bryant and Jean roads, near Bryant Elementary and Lakeridge Junior High schools.

A project to install a new traffic signal at the intersection began Aug. 20 and will likely continue through Sept. 20, Lake Oswego School District spokeswoman Christine Moses said. The new signal will replace the all-way stop.

Construction at the intersection will disrupt traffic Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Traffic control signage and flaggers will be present at all times in the construction zone.
