Two Earthquakes Off Oregon Coast
One was Sunday evening and the second was early Monday morning.

Two earthquakes shook under the Pacific Ocean more than 100 miles west of the Oregon Coast Sunday evening and Monday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The first one struck about 7:30 Sunday evening. It was about 145 miles west of Coos Bay and about six miles below the sea floor.
It was a magnitude 4.9.

The second one happened around 2:00 Monday morning about 118 miles below the sea floor and around 118 miles west of Coos Bay.
It measured a 4.8.
