Zika Virus in Oregon: CDC Confirms Six Cases
New numbers cite "laboratory-confirmed" cases.

There have been six cases of the Zika Virus in Oregon, according to statistics released Friday by the Centers for Disease Control.
One of those people received the virus through sexual contact, the CDC said.
It was not known if any of the six were pregnant.

All six of the cases were labeled "travel-related."
According to the CDC, across the Untied States there have been 544 travel-associated cases, 10 of which were sexually transmitted.

The most have been in New York - 119, followed by Florida where there were 109 cases.
That pales, though, to the number of cases in Puerto Rico - 809.
