Arby's Serves Up Duck In Happy Valley Beginning Oct. 20

HAPPY VALLEY, OR — If you've ever wanted a fast food duck meat sandwich, Arby's has you covered. Following the success of Arby's previous forays into unconventional meat sandwiches, which included venison and a limited edition elk sandwich, Arby's this week announced it's now duck season.

Once again offered in a limited edition capacity, Arby's "Seared Duck Breast Sandwich" will be made available at select locations Saturday, Oct. 20. The special locations were reportedly selected in markets that cross the four waterfowl migration flyways in the U.S.

In Oregon, you can grab a duck sandwich at the Happy Valley Arby's, located at 10499 S.E. 82nd Ave.

The duck meat is reportedly sourced from Indiana-based duck farm Maple Leaf Farms, which has produced quality duck meat since 1958, according to its website.

At Arby's, the duck meat is seared, cooked Sous Vide, and topped with crispy onions. A smoked cherry sauce adds to the flavor, and the whole package is presented on a toasted specialty bun.

Only 16 Arby's locations will serve the limited edition duck sandwiches, so if you've a craving you won't want to miss out.
