Cargo Train Kills Woman In Oregon City In Saturday Morning Crash

The woman, whose name has not been released, was walking on the tracks just after 8 a.m. on Saturday when the train struck and killed her.

OREGON CITY, OR – A woman was struck and killed Saturday morning by a Union Pacific freight train. It happened at the railroad crossing at 10th Street and Singer Hill Road.

Oregon City Police responded around 8:15 a.m..

Witnesses told police that the woman had been walking on the tracks when she was struck.

The name and age of the woman won't be released until police are able to notify her next of kin.
