If so, submit the form at the end of this page by Monday, August 2, to demonstrate your recipe in our Community Kitchen program. The goal of this program is to bring people to the library who are willing to share their recipes, skills, and culinary tips-and-tricks with others through library-hosted demonstrations.

The library will purchase the ingredients for the program.

Recipes are encouraged to be less than 30 minutes for ingredient preparation, and less than 90 minutes total cook time.

A staff member will cohost the program with you, and ask you questions about your recipe and process throughout the demonstration.

These demonstrations will be recorded so we can continue to reach those unable to make it to the library. At this time we do not have a date as to when we can provide in-person programming, so you may be cooking only for a camera and present staff.

In the application we ask for you to submit a copy of the recipe you'd wish to make. The recipe will be made publically accessible at the time the video is published. If you need assistance with this step, please reach out to library staff.

Following city guidelines, the library requires presenters to wear a mask during the program unless they are able to provide proof of COVID vaccination, and it has been two weeks since the second shot. Presenters will still have to wear a mask in the library after the program.
