Drunk Teen Crashes Into Boat Dealership: Sheriff
Matthew Folsom, 19, was allegedly drunk when he crashed his Toyota RAV4 into Clemens Marina in Gladstone early Thursday.

GLADSTONE, OR — A 19-year-old Gresham man was arrested in Gladstone early Thursday after he allegedly drove his 2015 Toyota RAV4 into the Clemens Marina boat dealership, damaging several boats, trailers, and a fence, according to Clackamas County Sheriff's officials.
Matthew Jay Kenneth Folsom was taken to Clackamas County Jail following his arrest. He is charged with hit and run, criminal mischief, and driving under the influence of intoxicants. His bail is set at $15,000.

Clackamas County deputies were dispatched around 4 a.m. Nov. 1 to the intersection of Glen Echo Avenue and Southeast McLoughlin Boulevard after receiving a hit and run report. According to witnesses at the scene, an obviously drunk driver — later identified as Folsom — fled the area on foot when he was confronted by witnesses shortly after the crash.

Deputies searched the area but did not find the suspected driver. It didn't really matter, though, because Folsom reportedly returned to Clemens Marina about an hour after the crash and began yelling and cursing at law enforcement. He was subsequently arrested.
Officials estimate damages to the Marina property will cost about $150,000.
