Oregon City's Mountain View Cemetery was generously awarded $15,000 in grant funds from the Oregon State Heritage Grant Committee for a sustainable cemetery software program to manage, maintain and archive the Mountain View Cemetery records.

The first stage of the project process will migrate the current database records to the new program. The program will eventually provide the Global Position System(GPS) for locating each gravesite, financial continuity, and public access to real-time records. Eventually, the cemetery will scan all historic records and link them to the gravesites and people placed preserving documents well over 100 years old.
