Oregon City Nails On Road Lead To Offer Of Reward Of $1,000

Someone is putting nails on the roads of Oregon City. It's happened several times recently. Oregon City Police are offering a $1,000 reward

OREGON CITY, OR – The Oregon City Police Department needs your help. Several times in just the past week, someone has placed nails on roads in the city, creating a situation that the police call "an extreme danger to motorists."

That's on top of several other incidents over the past few weeks.

They want to catch who is responsible and are now offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of that person or persons.

Police say that recently nails were found on Linn Ave. from Holmes Ln. to 5th St., and S. Center St. from Telford Rd. to S. 2nd St.

Nails have also been reported on Washington St. near 9th St. and 13th Street.

Police ask that if you have a surveillance camera to please check it and that if you notice a suspicious situation or happen to know who is responsible to all them at 503-496-1616.
