That's according to a new survey by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin.

Researchers claim that "very year, nearly 1,900 deaths in Oregon could be avoided if all residents in the state had a fair chance to be healthy."

The survey found that Clackamas County - despite being number two in many categories - still has some areas to work on including excessive drinking and, ironically, the survey took issue with the physical environment many people endure.

Not the beautiful views of Mt. Hood or the numerous parks but the fact that nearly half of residents have a long commute in which they drive alone.
