Jessica Schindler, 28, was cited and released from Benton County Jail for allegedly driving with a BAC of .15 percent.

PHILOMATH, OR — The Benton County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday announced the arrest of an Oregon City woman accused of drunk driving outside Philomath Tuesday night.

Jessica Ann Schindler, 28, was cited and released from the Benton County Jail. She is charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, and reckless endangering.

According to BCSO officials, Schindler was stopped just before 9:30 p.m. Oct. 9 near the intersection of Highway 34 and Highway 20 just west of Philomath. After deputies deemed Schindler too impaired to operate a vehicle, she was given a breathalyzer test and returned a blood alcohol content level of .15 percent — nearly double the legal limit.
