Police ID Motorcyclist Killed In Crash Sunday
Oregon City resident Casey Smith, 51, crashed his motorcycle while riding along Highway 224 Sunday afternoon. He died at the scene.
ESTACADA, OR — Oregon State Police on Tuesday identified the motorcyclist who was killed over the weekend in a crash on Highway 224.
Oregon City resident Casey Smith, 51, was reportedly riding along Highway 224 when near milepost 43 he inexplicably left the highway on a left-leaning curve and went into the ditch.
OSP troopers were dispatched to the crash around 2:45 p.m. Aug. 5.

Smith, police said, sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
