2 Teens Arrested, 1 Still At-Large Following Car Theft In Wilsonville Monday
Police say the 3 teens stole the car from a man who drove them from Eugene to Portland Monday morning after the man stopped at Plaid Pantry.

WILSONVILLE, OR — Two teenage boys were arrested and another remains on the loose in the Portland metro region following a car theft, chase, and crash Monday morning between Wilsonville and Tualatin.
A 16-year-old and 17-year-old were lodged at the Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Center in Portland on numerous, unspecified charges, according to Clackamas County Sheriff's officials. Police are seeking information to help them locate the third suspect, who is also 17 years old. As with most juvenile cases, the suspects remain unidentified.
Clackamas County deputies responded to a reported stolen vehicle at a Wilsonville Plaid Pantry around 6:30 a.m. Sept. 18. The victim and vehicle owner told deputies he had picked up three teenage boys who were traveling from Eugene to Portland.

When they arrived in Wilsonville, the victim stopped at the Plaid Pantry and went inside, police said. When the victim returned to where he'd left his car, both it — a black 2007 Toyota Camry 4D — and the three juveniles were reportedly gone.
A Clackamas County deputy happened upon the Camry later Monday morning, shortly after 11:30, and attempted to stop the stolen vehicle. The juvenile driver reportedly chose instead to lead police on a chase north to Tualatin on Southwest Boones Ferry Road. To avoid creating a more dangerous situation, deputies pulled back from the chase.

Shortly after, a citizen informed the sheriff's office that a black Toyota Camry had crashed at high speed while attempting to make a turn near Southwest Boones Ferry Road and Southwest Blake Street in Tualatin.
When deputies arrived at the crash scene they took the 16-year-old suspect into custody, police said. Tualatin officers found the second suspect, a 17-year-old, hiding in someone's backyard nearby. The third suspect, also 17 years old, could not be located.
The sheriff's office is now seeking information from the community as it continues to search for the missing minor suspect.
