2nd Robbery Suspect Arrested In McMinnville: Police
Judas Rocha was arrested at a McMinnville apartment after eluding police for two weeks following a home invasion robbery Oct. 4.

MCMINNVILLE, OR — Police on Wednesday night arrested the second suspect allegedly associated with an armed home invasion robbery in McMinnville earlier this month. Evan Andrew Gibby, the other suspect thought to be involved, was arrested shortly after the robbery occurred Oct. 4.
Judas Rodrigo Rocha, 20, of Newberg, was taken to Yamhill County Jail and charged with robbery, burglary, theft, menacing, criminal mischief, and possession of heroin. His bail is set at $240,000.
McMinnville police got a tip just after 10 p.m. Oct. 17 that Rocha was at an apartment in the 200-block of Southwest Agee Street. However, once at the apartment officers were denied entry to take Rocha into custody, and the apartment's three occupants refused to come out on their own, so police were forced to obtain a warrant.

On Oct. 4, Rocha and 24-year-old Evan Gibby allegedly forced their way into an apartment in the 1600-block of Northwest Second Street in McMinnville. After entering through the front door the pair reportedly went into a resident's bedroom and stole unspecified items. One of the men had a knife, witnesses said.
After the robbery both men fled in opposite directions. To help locate them, Newberg police dispatched a K9 team to track Rocha and Gibby, police officials said at the time.
After the K9s reportedly found some evidence from the robbery, officers were told a man matching the description of one of the suspects was seen entering a nearby apartment.
The officers were allowed to search the apartment and quickly found evidence related to the robbery, such as clothing matching the suspects' descriptions as well as stolen property, before also locating Gibby and identifying him as one of the suspects.
When he was interviewed, Gibby reportedly told officers he was one of the masked men involved.
At the same time officers reportedly learned Rocha was the other suspect, and that both men and their victims knew each other. The victims, however, will not be identified, police said.
