7 People Injured In 2-Car Crash South Of Wilsonville Wednesday
Four adults and three kids required hospitalization after a collision involving a Chevrolet SUV and a Dodge truck west of I-5.

AURORA, OR — All six occupants of an SUV that was hit by a truck south of Wilsonville Wednesday morning were taken to hospital with varying injuries. The passenger in the truck also required hospitalization, according to Marion County Sheriff's officials. The victims of the two-car collision reportedly range between 52 and 8 years old.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office dispatched deputies to the two-car crash in the 12000-block of Ehlen Road Northeast just before 11 a.m. Aug. 8. At the scene, investigators learned a Chevrolet SUV carrying six people was part of a procession of vehicles stuck behind a slow moving semi truck on Ehlen Road Northeast, just west of Interstate-5 between Aurora and Donald.
Further behind the SUV and several other vehicles, but moving in the same direction, a Dodge truck driven by 54-year-old Donald resident Bradley Snethen reportedly moved around the procession and began passing the slow-moving line of cars. At the same time, the SUV driver, 33-year-old Holly Mendoza, turned the Chevy left and crossed the road into a driveway.

Before the SUV made it, however, Snethen's truck plowed into the side of the Chevy, injuring all six people inside.
Mendoza and an 8-year-old boy both reportedly required LifeFlight transport to hospital. The other four SUV passengers — Jason West, 34, Daniel Cuevas, 37, a 15-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy — were all taken to hospital by ambulance. The three adults were reportedly taken to Oregon Health and Science University while the kids were all taken to Doernbecher Children's Hospital.

In the Dodge, Bradley Snethen was unhurt; his passenger, however — Bradley's 52-year-old wife Sandra Snethen — was taken to a Salem hospital with unspecified injuries.
