Bulky Waste Day Scheduled For May In Wilsonville
The annual event is exclusively for Wilsonville residents to get rid of all their unwanted items that wouldn't otherwise fit in a trash can.

WILSONVILLE, OR — For those sprucing up this spring who find they have items to discard that won't fit into their garbage cans, don't make a costly trip to any landfills just yet. The city of Wilsonville is hosting its annual Bulky Waste Day in May, and residents in Wilsonville will be able to toss their unwanted, bulky items for free.
Bulky Waste Day will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 19 at the Republic Services facility at 10295 S.W. Ridder Rd. in Wilsonville.
Held in partnership with Metro and Republic Services, Wilsonville's garbage service provider, Bulky Waste Day is a yearly opportunity exclusively for Wilsonville residents to free themselves of unwanted dishwashers, TVs, refrigerators, computers, ovens, washers and dryers, couches, water heaters, mattresses, junk metal, tables and chairs, and clean, untreated wood at no charge.

Residents are encouraged, however, to donate hygiene supplies to help Wilsonville Community Sharing's food bank assist local families in-need. Items like toilet paper, soaps and shampoos, and deodorant are always needed.
Things not to bring to Bulky Waste Day include any kind of construction debris, propane canisters, paint, batteries, solvents, thinners, regular household garbage that would fit in a trash can, or car tires.
