Car Takes Out Traffic Light On SW Boones Ferry Road
The traffic light at the entrance to Old Town Square was hit by a car Tuesday, making the intersection a 4-way stop for at least a week.
WILSONVILLE, OR — A car crashed into the turn signal on Southwest Boones Ferry Road by the entrance to Old Town Square, knocking the light out of service, city officials announced Tuesday. Commuters will now see the light blinking red.
City spokesman Mark Ottenad said the light could take a week to replace, and that motorists in the area should treat the intersection as a four-way stop until the turn signal is functional again.
