CCC Features 2 Oregon-Based Artists In Month-Long Exhibition

Joanne Radmilovich-Kollman and Celeste Bergin will showcase their 'Solitude' exhibition at the college's art gallery in Wilsonville.

WILSONVILLE, OR — Two Oregon-based artists will be featured at an exhibition hosted by the Clackamas Community College's gallery in Wilsonville through Feb. 23.

Solitude, by artists Joanne Radmilovich-Kollman and Celeste Bergin, explores "the theme of simultaneously seeking company while paradoxically having to 'go-it-alone,'" CCC spokeswoman Lori Hall said in a statement.

The exhibition, which opened Jan. 9 at CCC's Wilsonville campus located at 29353 S.W. Town Center Loop East, features several oil paintings that capture "energy, atmosphere and emotion," Hall said.

"Our hope is that the viewer will sense their own experiences of peaceful solitude in some of our paintings," Radmilovich-Kollman said.

"Many of our works in Solitude could be considered acts of hope and courage," Bergin added.
