Do Not Give Your Ballots To Strangers: Wilsonville Election Official
After one report, the Willsonville Election Office is reminding residents to not give your ballot to strangers.

WILSONVILLE, OR — Elections officials with the city of Wilsonville are warning residents not to give their ballots to strangers to deliver on their behalf. The city shared a post on Facebook, detailing locations where ballots can be safely dropped off ahead of the election on Tuesday, November 8.
Wilsonville City Recorder and Elections Official Sandra C. King explained to Patch that the Facebook post was shared in response to a troubling note in the closed Facebook group "People of Wilsonville," where it was reported that a person walked up to at least one home in the area and offered to turn in the election ballot for a resident. The resident refused to hand over her ballot, according to King.
In a post titled, "Do Not Give Your Ballot To A Stranger To Deliver For You," the City of Wilsonville encourages the usual measures of dropping off your ballot at the U.S. post office with proper postage. You can also drop it off at the Wilsonville Public Library at 8200 SW Wilsonville Road or the Clackamas County Elections office located in Oregon City at 1710 Red Soils Court, Suite 100.
