Fatal Crash On Highway 99W Tuesday Morning: Police
A sedan appears to have collided with a tractor just outside Lafayette. State police have setup detours while the highway is closed.

LAFAYETTE, OR — Oregon State Police reported a fatal car crash on Highway 99W, just outside Lafayette Tuesday morning. According to police, a sedan collided with a tractor on the rural highway, killing one person.
The crash reportedly occurred near milepost 33 around 8:15 a.m. Sept. 18.
State transportation officials said Highway 99W would close indefinitely around the crash site while police investigated. A detour has reportedly been established over Mineral Springs Road, to Gun Club Road, to wither Highway 47 or 99W.
