Memorial Park Shooting Suspect Sought: Sheriff

The Friday night shooting at Memorial Park in Wilsonville left one man injured. A sketch of the suspect was a released Monday afternoon.

WILSONVILLE, OR — Law enforcement in Wilsonville continue to search for the person responsible for shooting a 21-year-old man at Memorial Park last Friday night. Clackamas County Sheriff's Office spokesman Sgt. Brian Jensen shared the agency's suspect sketch Monday afternoon.

The suspect is thought to be a Latino male in his late teens, according to sheriff's officials. He is described as 5-foot-8 with a chubby face and light brown skin, brown eyes, and apparently "manicured-looking brows." At the time of the shooting he reportedly had his black hair in a "spiked" style, was wearing a long sleeve, light colored shirt, jeans, and white Vans-style shoes.

The shooting reportedly occurred at 8100 S.W. Memorial Dr. in Wilsonville just before 10 p.m. Oct. 12. The victim was reportedly shot twice — once in the arm and once in the abdomen. He was listed in stable condition on Friday night.

Police have asked for anyone who may have information about this shooting to contact the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, which contracts its services to the city of Wilsonville, as well as Happy Valley and Estacada.
