Oregon Beers Show the World How it's Done

Oregon brewers headed to the World Beer Cup hoping to do well.

They did more than that.

They came home with 19 medals - more than Germany (17) and more than Washington (4).

The real Oregon Star was Gold Beach's Arch Rock Brewing. Not only did their Pistol River Pale beat out 166 other beers to win the gold medal in the American-style pale ale category, the brewery was honored as the best "Very Small Brewing Company."
