The tip line will be available 24-hours-a-day, 365 days-a-year.

Recognizing that the world has become a place where school shootings can happen, the Oregon State Police have established a school safety program that will allow people to call in tips 24 hours-a-day and 365 days-a-week. The program is called SafeOregon.

People will be able to send in tips for a mobile app, phone, email, or text message.

The state police say that the program is a way for "students, staff or other members of the public to anonymously report and share confidential information of a threat or a potential threat to student safety.
