Parents Charged In Crime Spree Had 3-Year-Old In Car When Busted

Skylar and Jessica Tweedle may be linked to as many 40 crimes in the Wilsonville area. Their child was with them when they were arrested.

WILSONVILLE, OR – If you live in Wilsonville nad have had your car, garage, or home broken into recently, the police may have your stuff. On Wednesday night, they say that they arrested a couple who may be linked to as many "40 local crimes in this recent theft spree."

Skylar Tweedle and his wife, Jessica, were arrested in a traffic stop on the 29000 block of Southwest Parkway Court.

Inside their car were a bunch of so-called jiggle keys (keys that have been filed down and are used for car break-ins), several garage door openers, credit cards, computers, cell phones, gift cards, purses and bags, packages that had been taken from porches, credit cards, gift cards, and drug paraphernalia.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office says that the couple admitted to their participation in recent crimes and face multiple charges including burglary, criminal conspiracy, identity theft, and endangering the welfare of a minor.

The child has been placed in the custody of family.

A third person, 30-year-old Joshua Kenneth Derrick, is still being sought.
