Police Impersonator Pulls Over Driver On I-5
Oregon State Police are actively searching for the man who pretended to be a state trooper when he pulled over a driver Thursday night.

AURORA, OR — A man who was reportedly impersonating an Oregon State Police motorcycle trooper successfully pulled over a commuter south of Wilsonville on Interstate-5 Thursday night, prompting police officials to issue a warning to all travelers in the area.
The impersonator was described as a white man with a nose ring and tattoos on his arms. He was reportedly riding a black and white Harley-Davidson-style motorcycle with a large front fairing; he was wearing a black leather vest, black leather pants with a chain wallet, and a "weird" black and white half-helmet, police said.
Using blue lights apparently attached to his motorcycle, the impersonator pulled over a driver on I-5 near Ehlen Road, at exit 278, about 3 miles west of Aurora, around 9:45 p.m. July 5.
