Sherwood Burglar Wanted; Tips Sought

Police would like help identifying the man suspected of multiple burglaries in Sherwood this past weekend, which includes a car theft.

SHERWOOD, OR — A man suspected of multiple burglaries in the Sherwood area on Sunday is wanted by police. Any tips the community can offer to help identify the man should be directed to the Washington County non-emergency dispatch line at 503-629-0111.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s, roughly 6 feet tall and 190 pounds with a medium build. He is bald and has blue eyes.

The suspect allegedly broke into several homes and cars in Sherwood on June 3. Stealing credit cards and a blue 1999 Chevrolet Silverado Z28 pickup, the man made purchases at a Fred Meyer and gas station in Portland on the same day as the thefts.

Police have released surveillance images of the suspect in the Chevy and at the Fred Meyer.

Anyone who sees, recognizes, or has information about the man or the truck — Oregon license plate WVS 950 — is asked to contact police immediately.
