Sherwood Teen Missing, Police Say

Effie 'Nikki' Shaha-Walberg told a friend she was in downtown Portland on June 5. No one has heard from her since.

SHERWOOD, OR — Police are seeking the public's assistance to find a missing Sherwood teen who reportedly told a friend that was in the downtown Portland area in the early morning of June 5.

Effie 'Nikki' Shaha-Walberg unexpectedly left her residence in Sherwood in the evening on June 4, police said. She was reportedly last seen wearing grey jeans, a black t-shirt, and black shoes. Nikki is 17 years old, 5-foot 2-inches and 117 pounds.

Officials are unsure of whether Nikki is alone. She reportedly does not have a cell phone or any social media presence, but is in need of medication for a seizure disorder, police said.
