Spring Garden Fair Returns to Canby May 6 and 7

The fundraising event will feature more than 150 vendors from Oregon and Washington. Proceeds assist the volunteer master gardening program.

CANBY, OR – The Clackamas County Master Gardeners’ Spring Garden Fair 2017 is coming to the Clackamas County Fairgrounds in Canby for two days in May.

Local garden artists and specialty vendors will join some of the best growers in the region to help raise funds in support of the volunteer master gardeners and various community grants, according to event coordinators.

Additionally, the Spring Garden Fair fundraiser supports horticulture scholarships for Clackamas Community College students and covers the cost of offering free educational gardening programs in Clackamas County.

The fair will be held on May 6 and 7 at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds, 694 N.E. Fourth Ave. in Canby. Admission is $5 for adults. Kids 16 and younger get in free.

At the fair, gardening enthusiasts can enjoy a silent auction, gardening classes, free pH soil testing, and a Q&A with an Oregon State University master gardener.

More than 150 vendors from across Oregon and Washington will be on display, offering everything from garden sculptures and bird feeders to rare and unusual plants.
