Summer Events In Wilsonville Include Block Party, Wellness Fair
Throughout July and August Wilsonville will become host to several community-minded events, like Friday Night Movies in the Park.

From the City of Wilsonville: The City of Wilsonville is hosting several family-friendly community events this summer, including a celebration of the City of Wilsonville’s 50th birthday.
These free events are designed to bring friends and families together to celebrate summer at two of Wilsonville’s top gathering places: Memorial Park and Town Center Park.
The Wilsonville Wellness Fair takes place at Town Center Park from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday, July 14.

Two previously successful events — The Holistic Health Fair and Community Health Fair — have been merged into a bigger family-friendly wellness event that includes live performances, demonstrations and giveaways, and provides guests an opportunity to talk with representatives from more than 40 local businesses specializing in healthy bodies, minds and spirits.
Representatives of Legacy Trauma Nurses and Oregon Trial Lawyers Association are giving out free bike helmets, SMART Transit is hosting a bike rodeo and helmet-decorating station, and Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue is offering hands-only CPR training.

The Friday night Movies in the Park series held at Memorial Park includes four features suitable for the entire family. Lawn seating opens at 8:15 pm, and movies begin at dusk on an inflatable screen at the River Shelter.
Community members are invited to bring short lawn-chairs, blankets and picnic snacks.
This year’s schedule:
- July 13: A Dog’s Purpose
- July 27: Coco
- Aug. 10: Early Man
- Aug. 24: Beauty and the Beast
Wilsonville celebrates 50 years as an incorporated municipality at the second annual Community Block Party on Wednesday, August 22, from 5 to 8 pm at Town Center Park. The evening includes a concert by singer/songwriter Nate Botsford, food trucks, train rides, interactive activities, games, and…of course…birthday cake!
These City-hosted activities are just a few of the community events in store for Wilsonville residents and visitors this summer, including the Wilsonville Rotary concert series (begins July 19), Fun in the Park (Aug. 4), Wilsonville Brewfest (Aug. 11) and several others throughout the summer.
