Turning Point Realtor Tyler Head Supports Soles4Souls

Tyler Head recently announced that his Turning Point Realty Group office, 112 E. 13th Avenue in Eugene, is now an official Soles4Souls drop-off location. “I will be collecting shoes for this outstanding altruistic organization to help wear out poverty,” said Tyler, owner/principal broker of Turning Point Realty Group. “I encourage the entire community to drop by and drop off a new or gently worn pair of shoes. Together, we can all be more productive members of the community.”

Tyler added that he intends on being a permanent collection site for Soles4Souls, which to date has collected and distributed more than 26 million pairs of shoes to people in need in 127 countries around the world and all 50 states in the U.S. The vision of Soles4Souls is to eradicate extreme poverty by 2050. To achieve this goal, Soles4Souls monetizes used shoes and clothing to create sustainable jobs, as well as fund direct relief efforts, which include distribution of new shoes and clothing throughout the world.

“Everyone deserves a good pair of shoes, as each day children around the globe are prevented from attending school and adults are unable to work as walking becomes unbearable because of a lack of shoes,” said Tyler. “However, by donating just one pair of shoes, we can all help right this terrible wrong. Every pair of donated shoes really counts.”
