Wilsonville HS Star Quarterback Commits to Washington State

Connor Neville, who has been courted by top colleges around the country, will be headed north.

Connor Neville, the star quarterback at Wilsonville High School, went to see practice at Washington State University Saturday and ended the day committing to go there.

He made the announcement on his Twitter feed.

"I have verbally committed to THE Washington State University," he wrote.

Last season, Neville threw for 3,110 yards and 37 touchdowns, with 109 completions out of 309 attempts.

He only had eight interceptions.

Neville, who was considered the 20th best high school quarterback in the country, was recruited by Arizona State, Nebraska, UCLA, and others.

He was recently at Oregon State, which the Oregonian reported "intrigued" the junior.
