Wilsonville Offers Bulky Trash Disposal In October

Wilsonville's Bulky Waste Day event give residents a chance to toss things that don't fit into standard-sized garbage cans, free of charge.

From The City of Wilsonville: In partnership with Metro and Republic Services, the City of Wilsonville is sponsoring a new, fall-season Bulky Waste Day on Saturday, Oct. 27, 9 am–1 pm, at Republic Services, 10295 SW Ridder Road in Wilsonville.

This now twice-yearly opportunity, which also occurs in May of each year, is provided for Wilsonville residents only; all participants must provide proof of residence.

There is no charge, though organizers request that participants donate hygiene items — including toilet paper, soap, shampoo, laundry soap, deodorant — to help Wilsonville Community Sharing’s Food Bank provide assistance to local families in need.
