Wilsonville Planning Future of Parks

Monday is the deadline for consultant proposals

Parks just don't take care of themselves.

the City of Wilsonville is looking to develop a Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Master Plan to develop a vision for the city's parks, recreation, trails and open space over the next decade.

The city describes itself a "fast-growing city of approximately 22,870 residents... supported by a diverse economy and has benefited from thoughtful planning, high development standards and a beautiful natural environment."

After the city receives the proposals they will evaluate them, schedule interviews and announce who gets the contract in the middle of May.

Professional consultants can go here for guidelines, though, if they haven't started already, it's kind of late.
