Wilsonville Schools: Foundation Looks to Raise Money to Hire Teachers
Foundation's "Count Me in" campaign is underway.

Spring break has just ended but some are already looking forward to the 2016-2017 school year.
The West Linn-Wilsonville Education Foundation has started its annual Count Me In campaign, which raises money for the schools in the district.
Their goal this time around is to raise $140,000 - enough money to hire three new teachers for the district.

The foundation says that while state funding has increased, local options funds are still below 2008 levels.
And in that time they have added more than 1,000 students to the district.
