Wilsonville's Flir Systems Looking For A New Boss
Andy Teich, who has been with the company since 1999 and its CEO since 2013, will step down when a new CEO is found.

Flir Systems, one of Oregon's largest companies and Wilsonville's largest employer, is looking for a new boss. Andy Teich, who has worked for them since 1999 and led the company since 2013,
"Nearly 34 years ago, I saw my first thermal camera and I immediately knew it would change the world," Teich said in a release. "I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to help pioneer the commercialization and global adoption of this technology alongside some of the most talented people in the industry."
Teich joined the company when it acquired Inframetrics where he had worked on thermal imaging technology since 1984.

He has helped Flir evolve from a company focused on selling to the military to one increasingly looking to the commercial market, making thermal imaging cameras that work with smartphones.
Flir, which employs about 3,000 people - about a tenth of whom live in Wilsonville, said that they will start a search for a new chief executive.
