Wine Tasting Benefit At Wilsonville Public Library Nov. 4

The annual fundraiser for the Wilsonville Public Library Foundation benefits adult and youth programs at the city library.

WILSONVILLE, OR — The Wilsonville Public Library Foundation will host a wine tasting fundraiser at the city library during the first week in November to benefit children and adult programs, but tickets must be purchased by Oct. 31.

"A Toast to Imagination" will be held from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Wilsonville Public Library, 8200 S.W. Wilsonville Rd. Tickets cost $45 and include unlimited wine tasting, appetizers, and a stemmed Riedel wine glass.

Seven local wineries will be on-hand to support the foundation's mission to "enhance the excellence of the Wilsonville Public Library," according to a foundation statement.

From youth outreach to library resources and programs, the foundation's annual fundraiser helps support the continued learning of both adult and child residents in Wilsonville, foundation officials said.

"Our wine tasting event was so much fun last year," foundation board member Hilly Alexander said in a blog post on the foundation's website. "Bring your friends to unlimited wine tasting and great food in the Wilsonville Public Library after hours. Please purchase your tickets by Oct. 31. We want to make sure we have enough food for everyone."
